Ariana Grande has new music on the way!
Late last night (September 15), the superstar took to social media to share a special snippet of what could be her next record. “brb,” the songbird captioned a seconds-long preview on Instagram, which features her singing runs and her signature “Yeah.”
Per the comments section, Arianators are LIVING for it. “I kept this looping for a while and my soul left my body for heaven 🙃” one fan wrote. RuPaul’s Drag Race star Jackie Cox chimed in, “Sounding so beautiful 💕💕💕”
It also appears Grande may have teased a line from the upcoming song. The night before unveiling the snippet to the world, the “God Is a Woman” star shared the following tweet: “know my love infinite nothing that i won’t do.”
After some additional sleuthing, it seems Genius has shared more (albeit unconfirmed) verses from the song, dubbed “Know My Love,” which includes the lyrics: “When you gon’ stop walking over me/ Now I see that you’re not the one for me.”
As yet, the superstar has not released any solo material this year so far. She has, however, appeared on several records as a featured artist, including Childish Gambino’s “Time” and most notably, on Lady Gaga’s “Rain On Me,” which the pop stars recently performed live together for the first time at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards.
Grande’s last musical effort, Thank U, Next, released to high acclaim in 2019. The album followed 2018’s Sweetener, and contained some of the Nickelodeon alum’s biggest smash singles, including “Thank U, Next,” “7 Rings” and “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored.”
