Kim Kardashian Recalls Kanye West's 'Scary' Coronavirus Battle

Kim Kardashian opened up about playing caretaker for husband Kanye West, who claimed to have contracted COVID-19 earlier this year.

Some may recall that the “Jesus Walks” rapper told Forbes in a July interview that he’d come down with the novel virus back in February. Describing his private COVID-19 battle at the time, West said, “Chills, shaking in the bed, taking hot showers, looking at videos telling me what I’m supposed to do to get over it.”

He added, “I remember someone had told me Drake had the coronavirus and my response was Drake can’t be sicker than me!” (To be clear, Drake confirmed he tested negative for coronavirus.)

Now, in the latest issue of Grazia magazine, Kardashian recounts the “scary” experience of looking after Ye all by herself. “Kanye had it way at the beginning, when nobody really knew what was going on. It was so scary and unknown. I had my four babies and no one else in the house to help,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star recalled.

“I had to go and change his sheets and help him get out of bed when he wasn’t feeling good,” she continued. “It was a challenge because it was so unknown. Changing his sheets with gloves and a face shield was really a scary time.”

In related Kimye news, these past months in quarantine—which appears to have caused many a celebrity breakup this year—has reportedly made things strained between West and Kardashian as well. Last we reported, the reality star is allegedly “at the end of her rope” with the musician due to his random Twitter rants, and is “very torn” about ending her marriage to the superstar if things don’t improve.
