Texas must be feeling lucky!
Four Texans became lottery winners on the same night last week on October 8th. Together, they won a total of $1.55 million.
The four people were from Kerrville, Grapevine, Cedar Park, and Houston.
Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery, told KENS 5, "For the first time in nearly six years, and for only the fourth time in Texas Lottery history, the top prizes for All or Nothing and Cash Five and the jackpot prize for Texas Two Step were each won on the same day."
Two Jackpot tickets for the Texas Two Step were bought in Kerrville and Cedar Park.
An All or Nothing Night drawing was bought in Grapevine with winnings of $250,000.
A $25,000 winning prize ticket for the Cash Five was bought in Houston.
Four winners from the state have not won on the same night since October 8th of 2012, which is ironically the same night as this year's lucky day.
Grief stated, "We would like to congratulate this group of winners and we look forward to meeting each one of them when they claim their prize."
