G-Eazy and blackbear have teamed up one once again on their brand new collaboration "Hate The Way."
"Hate The Way" is a heartbreak anthem about not being able to get over someone. In the chorus, they sing, "Yeah, I hate the way, the way I always miss you/ Yeah, I know I'm crazy, but you're sick, too/ Even after everything we've been through/ Thought I was the one with all the issues/ And every time I leave, it's too long/ And every time I leave, it's all wrong (You know)/ I hate the way, the way I always miss you."
Along with the new song comes its accompanying music video directed by Kat Webber, and stars G-Eazy, blackbear and actress Bria Vinaite from A24's The Florida Project.
G-Eazy and blackbear are set to perform their new song together for the first time during blackbear's virtual concert on October 21st, which will be live streamed from The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles at 6pm PT/9pm ET.
G-Eazy and blackbear first teamed up six years ago on G-Eazy's 2014 These Things Happen (blackbear produced the project's title track and "Remember You."). Since then, the two have worked together on several other tracks throughout the years, which brings us to the present as G-Eazy is preparing to drop his new album These Things Happen Too, the sequel to his 2014 project.
No official release date for These Things Happen Too has been set yet, but it wasn't that long ago that the rapper released his last album, Everything's Strange Here, over the summer.
