Rapper Pooh Shiesty Arrested For Double Shooting In Bay Harbor Islands

A well-known rapper is in custody after a shooting in Bay Harbor Island left two people hospitalized, NBC Miami reported. Lontrell Williams, who goes by Pooh Shiesty, was arrested Tuesday evening (October 13) after surrendering to authorities. He is facing multiple charges, including armed robbery with a firearm, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon doing great bodily harm, aggravated assault with a firearm, and theft, according to Bay Harbor Islands Police.

Williams and two other suspects had warrants out for their arrested in connection to a Friday afternoon (October 9) shooting at a condo parking lot at 9700 East Bay Harbor Dr. One of the victims said they met with Williams to sell the rapper a pair of Air Jordan 4 shoes, according to an arrest report. Another victim claimed they were meeting with Williams to sell marijuana and get payment for a lime green McClaren they had rented to him, officials said.

One of the victims was speaking with Williams in the rapper's car but noticed two armed men get out of another vehicle and approach the car. Williams then told the victim to get out the car. As the victim was getting out the vehicle, he was shot in the bottom, according to the report. The second victim claimed he was walking back to his car when "he heard two shots and fell to the ground," NBC Miami reported.

"Victim 2 stated that he turned and looked at Pooh Shiesty who was in the driver's side of the McClaren and Pooh Shiesty pointed an assault rife at him and said 'Don't try it, don't try it,' before driving away," police said. Officers said one of the injured victims were able to drive both of them to a nearby hospital. The other two suspects also fled the scene.

Officials added that Williams left a Louis Vuitton bag full of cash money at the scene. "Detectives searched Shiesty's Instagram account and found photos of him posing with the McClaren, another of him with the Louis Vuitton bag, and another of him showing cash including a hundred dollar bill whose serial number matched one of the bills found in the bag at the scene, the report said," according to NBC Miami.

Williams' bond is set at $30,000. The rapper is signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records and has more than 670,000 Instagram followers.
