Surveillance footage caught a sneaky burglar creating an entrance for himself at a Hialeah restaurant. Local 10 reported Saturday (October 17) that Joe Dominguez was caught on camera allegedly climbing onto the roof of Hialeah cafeteria La Caridad on East Hialeah Drive. The video showed Dominguez making a hole in the roof and dropping down inside the business.
The owner of La Caridad told authorities they saw the suspect looking through drawers but ultimately left the restaurant empty-handed. Police officers eventually caught and arrested Dominguez, who is facing several charges. He is also accused of stealing $500 of lottery tickets from a Hialeah supermarket, according to Local 10.
Last week, a Florida gas station clerk remained calm during a robbery. In security camera footage, it appears the clerk knocked the suspect's armed hand away and even told the robber, "You won't get far" before he fled. A man allegedly gave a cashier at a Miami Gardens Walgreens a note saying, "I have a gun, please follow orders" before conducting a robbery in late September. Authorities found no evidence that the robber had a gun at the time of the robbery.
