Tracy Lawrence Announces Annual Turkey Fry, Concert To Benefit Homeless

Country singer Tracy Lawrence has announced the dates for his annual turkey fry. The "Mission: Possible Turkey Fry" will take place on Tuesday, November 24, and a free virtual concert will be streamed at 7 p.m. that night.

According to the event's website, their mission is to "create, promote and implement the Mission: Possible Turkey Fry to feed homeless men, women and children and raise awareness of the plight of the homeless."

On November 24, Lawrence and others will gather in Nashville to fry up turkeys to help feed people in need on Thanksgiving. The event has been a wild success in the past. In 2019, they fried 500 turkeys and in turn fed around 6,000 people. Since his very first "Mission: Possible," Lawrence has helped provide more than 90,000 meals to those in need and fried over 6,400 turkeys.

In addition to the turkey fry, Lawrence will hold a free virtual benefit concert at the Wildhorse Saloon. Throughout the event, they will accept donations have and exclusive merchandise that fans can buy to support his mission. All proceeds from the event will go toward helping the homeless of Middle Tennessee.

Lawrence held his first turkey fry in 2006 and has since raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the homeless in Nashville. More than $600,000 has been raised for the Nashville Rescue Mission in the 15 years since he started the event.
