iHeartRadio HBCU Homecoming Celebration: All The Best Moments

On November 12th, iHeartRadio celebrated historically Black colleges and universities during the iHeartRadio HBCU Homecoming Celebration.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year many HBCU's and their students and alumni were not able to attend in-person homecoming celebrations to honor their institutions' rich histories and cultural impact. During the iHeartRadio HBCU Homecoming Celebration, iHeartRadio will brought together HBCU students and alumni with their favorite musical artists, influencers and entertainment.

The day kicked off with an incredible performance from several HBCU marching bands from across the country. During the "iHeartRadio Presents The Pepsi HBCU Marching Band Experience," four HBCU marching bands from Hampton University, North Carolina A&T, Prairie View A&M and Florida A&M came together to perform in unity.

Then, during the “iHeartRadio Beautiful Possibilities presented by Ulta Beauty” panel, The Breakfast Club co-host Angela Yee, along with special guests La La Anthony and Kreyol Essence CEO/founder Yve-Car Momperousse explored female entrepreneurship and brand building as the modern-day self-CEO, aiming to uplift and inspire the next generation of Black women leaders. The panel also featured an amazing performance from H.E.R.

Closing out the iHeartRadio HBCU Celebration, The Breakfast Club co-host and Hampton University Alumni DJ Envy hosted the "iHeartRadio HBCU Homecoming Party on the Yard, presented by McDonald's" through its Black & Positively Golden Movement, featuring a performance by Khalid and interviews with celebrity guests, including Lil Baby, and McDonald's owners/operators, legendary HBCU Homecoming highlights and more.
