Downtown Denver's 'Winter In The City' Launches Friday

Downtown Denver is ready for the holiday season. Despite various safety procedures and restrictions, the city is still making it possible for friends and family to enjoy the season while staying safe.

Winter in the City will launch throughout downtown Denver on Friday, November 27. From a reimagined Parade of Lights to holiday staples like the Denver Christkindl Market, there will be fun events and activities to check out in downtown Denver throughout the holiday season.

"This year's Winter in the City programming is a true celebration of the resiliency of our community and offers residents and visitors alike the chance to create memorable experiences this holiday season," said Tami Door, President and CEO of the Downtown Denver Partnership.

Festivities include a Small Business Saturday on November 28, giving residents the opportunity to support local businesses that may be struggling amidst the pandemic and tighter statewide restrictions.

"We are proud to offer the community safe, socially-distant opportunities to celebrate the holidays and support the restaurants and retailers that are a critically important part of our downtown fabric," continued Door.

More events and attractions like light installations and more holiday markets will be announced in the coming weeks. Check the Winter in the City calendar for updates.
