Three Holiday Events You Can Enjoy This Month In Dallas

Though things may seem a lot different this year in the midst of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Christmas spirit is still alive.

There are many events in the area that are sure to bring along the spirit of the holidays.

Here are three Christmas events that you and your family can enjoy this month in the Dallas area:

Zoo Lights at the Dallas Zoo

For the first time in the Dallas Zoo's 132-year history, guests will be able to drive through the zoo at this year's holiday lights event. The zoo is opening its back lot for the Dallas Zoo Lights, which is a 1 1/4 mile drive through lighted display. The Dallas Zoo drive-through experience will last for 36 nights only, lasting through January 3rd. The event opens at 6:30 p.m. each night. The zoo will limit the number of cars to about 600 per night.

Snowday

This event is definitely a unique experience. Guests can walk through a unique building with imaginative rooms of various themes. There will be lots of photo opportunities, holiday-themed rooms, and even a sideways cabin! This event will last until January 3rd. Tickets are $22 per adult, $8 per child, and children under the age of three are free.

Texas Motor Speedway's Gift of Lights

The Texas Motor Speedway's Gift of Lights is back with some alterations. While there will be no Santa's Village, the massive lights event features more than three million LED lights for everyone to enjoy form the comfort of their own vehicles. The event will last through January 3rd. Tickets range from $30 to $60.
