New Rollin' Rock Bakery Opens In Southeast Fresno

There's a new spot to get sweet treats in Southeast Fresno.

Rollin' Rock Bakery opened its doors on Saturday, December 5 at noon.

To celebrate the bakery offered fresh-baked cinnamon rolls for $1 until they sold out.

The deal made for a successfully busy opening day according to Rollin' Rock owner, Hector Garcia.

The bakery is known for its cinnamon rolls but also offers pies, danishes, and bierocks, a dough pastry pocket filled with a savory filling.

Garcia told ABC30 he began baking as a teenager with his father.

"I would rent kitchens and do solely delivery, nothing else, but now I'm able to open up my own shop," said Garcia.

The family-owned bakery is located in Southeast Fresno near Kings Canyon and Chestnut.

The space used to be home to Ernie's Bakery.
