The rankings are in: Ann Arbor is the best college town in the nation.
That’s according to a new report from WalletHub, a personal finance site, that released a study Tuesday (December 8) ranking the best college towns and cities in America.
WalletHub analyzed 30 “key indicators of academic, social and economic opportunities for students” in more than 400 college towns to compile a ranking of the best college towns and cities in the U.S., breaking out the top 30.
Ann Arbor, home of the University of Michigan, was the only Michigan college town to crack the top 30. But East Lansing, where Michigan State University is located, was part of a six-way tie for the most students per capita, WalletHub shows.
