Post Malone Gifts Grapevine High School Students Sold-Out Custom Crocs

Post Malone surprised students at his alma mater with free pairs of his custom crocs.

Students at Grapevine High School received Post Malone x Crocs Duet Max Clog II on Tuesday, according to principal Alex Fingers.

The black or pink clogs are part of the rapper's fifth collaboration with the shoe brand. His latest shoe line was released on Tuesday and sold out in hours. Other musicians have collaborated with the brand, including Luke Combs and Bad Bunny.

This isn't the first time that Post Malone has gifted crocs in DFW. In 2018, he gave pairs away to employees at a Chicken Express in Southlake where he used to work.

Post Malone, born Austin Post, was born in Syracuse, New York, but his family moved to Grapevine when he was a child. He lived in the area until shortly after graduating from high school. He attended Tarrant County College but dropped out to move to Los Angeles and launch his music career.

“Five years ago when this really started nobody would say you are going to win one or be nominated for one. Or you’d be the most streamed artist on Spotify in the world. It’s just crazy how things happen… I still see that kid that would dress up in his ninja costume for Halloween. Or the goofy kid that was performing at the family talent shows," Post Malone's father, Rich Post, told CBS DFW in 2019 after his son was nominated for four Grammys.
