It’s time to to hunker down at home and binge watch all of your favorite Christmas movies.
And many people in Wisconsin are turning to a beloved classic.
Comparitech, a research and tech services comparison hub, analyzed the most popular holiday movies using the IMDB’s most popular list and Google Trends, publishing findings Tuesday (December 15).
In Wisconsin, the most popular Christmas movie is It’s a Wonderful Life. Now a holiday staple, the film premiered in 1946, starring James Stewart and Donna Reed.
Comparitech’s analysis showed that favorite films ranged from 1940s classics to modern takes released just last year. A few movies have even sparked spirited debates over whether or not they count as Christmas movies at all.
