Arizona Home To Be Featured On ABC's Great Christmas Light Fight In 2021

One Arizona house will be featured on ABC's Great Christmas Light Fight later next year with the chance to win a $50,000 cash prize.

The home, located in Tucson, is owned by Dan Moussette.

The decorating tradition for Dan is 32 years strong. He started it to spread Christmas cheer around his neighborhood.

Moussette told KGUN 9, "My yard is fully covered. We have over 150 handmade things you will not find in a store."

Moussette is the creative mind behind the display. He installed 63,000 LED lights and made 150 one-of-a-kind figurines.

He starts on his display each year three weeks prior to Thanksgiving. He said, "My granddaughters are at the age where they can help. They get excited. That's what it's all about: watching the kids get excited and giving back."

Mousette has helped donate 1,500 pounds of food and $300 to the Community Food Bank. He said, "We've been going to the food bank every third to fourth day because we have no where to store it all."

Moussette says that seeing the smiles on everyone's faces makes him feel like he has already won.

He said, "It makes me feel really good that in a small way we can give back to the community. Everyone needs a little pic-me-up this time of year."

You can see the Moussette Family holiday light display at 3073 West Wildwood Drive in Tucson until January 1st.
