McDonald’s Has A 'Spam Burger' With Cookie Crumbs On Its Menu In China

McDonald's is known for having a ton of unique options available across the globe. While you may be able to get one kind of special sandwich in the U.S., McDonald's locations in other countries have their own interesting options.

For example, McDonald's once launched a Filet-O-Shrimp burger in Japan. In Brazil, customers could order an Ovomaltine McFlurry at their local McDonald's. Over in the Philippines, McDonald's offered Chicken McDo with Spaghetti—a Spaghetti Value Meal that comes with a side of fried chicken. Needless to say, McDonald's is always coming up with exciting and unique options for its customers to try.

Possibly the most unique menu item yet has recently popped up at McDonald's locations in China—a Spam burger topped with Oreo crumbles. The new menu item was announced on the Chinese social media platform Weibo last week. The news ended up on Twitter when video game analyst Daniel Ahmed shared promotions for the burger. "Look, I saw this so you have to see it too. Sorry, that's how it works," he wrote.

The Spam Burger is a limited-time menu item that will be available beginning on December 21. According to Delish, McDonald's only plans to make 400,000 Spam Burgers.
