A hot air balloon crashed in a Gilbert neighborhood on Tuesday. The crash happened after some powerful winds broke it from its tethers.
There were no serious injuries in the incident.
Videos show the hot air balloon dragging through the dirt before lifting up into the air.
It ultimately came back down and crashed into a fence in the backyard of a home.
Austen Davis told AZ Family, "The wind got a hold of it and took it over and kind of hit the fence over here and the wind took it again and went into another fence and as soon as it hit that fence I ran over and tried to make sure everything was okay and then it hit another fence and then another fence and that's when it stopped."
Gilbert crews said that there were nine people on board at the time of the accident.
Other than damage to a chain-linked fence, there was no other significant damage.
AZ Family said that the balloon was tethered and instructors were going over pre-flight instructions when the wind picked up and broke the tethers.
The pilot tried to get the balloon into the air but the winds were too strong.
