A crowd of protestors turned violent at the United States Capitol on Wednesday.
One person was show and killed inside, and three others died of other causes during the takeover.
Many people were arrested as a result, including many in Arizona.
Here are the individuals from Arizona that were arrested:
Jake Angeli is a Phoenix man that has made himself a spectacle at Arizona rallies since 2019. He was seen wearing a fur costume and horns. He posed for photos flexing the muscles of one arm while holding a spear from which hung a U.S. flag in the other.
Marsha Murphy is a 50-year-old woman that was accused of a curfew violation and unlawful entry. Marsha's husband, Kevin Murphy, told AZ Central, "I have no problem with people rallying. I just wish she had gone back to her hotel."
Joshua Knowles is a 31-year-old that was accused of a curfew violation and unlawful entry. Someone of the same name and age served 1.5 years in prison for a drug charge in 2009.
Timothy Austfjord is a 57-year-old man that was arrested because of a curfew violation. A man from Chandler with the same name and age has an arrest record in Maricopa County.
