How Much Does Oregon Hate Mondays? See Where It Ranks.

Sometimes we all have that inner Garfield when it comes to Monday. The first day after a two-day weekend, it can be a bit difficult to get back into the swing of weekly routines. It's no wonder the second day of the week gets the short end of people's annoyance.

Are some states more cranky than others on Monday? Zippia set out to find the answer. Researchers looked at Google Trends for what they consider the most "Monday" problems, such as coffee, people calling in sick and more.

Where does Oregon rank on their list?

According to the website, the Beaver State ranked at No. 4, meaning residents hate Mondays more than most of the country.

"The coffee consumption in Oklahoma on Mondays is half what it is in Oregon," writer Amanda Postma said. "Oregonians suck down the coffee pot to survive their Mondays."

Vermont was shown to hate Mondays the least, Zippia said. As for No. 1 on the list, "Idaho hates Mondays more than anyone. Idahoans hate Mondays so much that they call in sick more than any other state," Postma pointed out.

While studies show most people don't have a reason to smile until 11:16 a.m. on Mondays, it's an inevitable thing we all have to get through until the next weekend.
