It's not Taco Tuesday, but we're still celebrating the delicious flavors of the classic Mexican cuisine.
When it comes to finding the perfect tacos or any Mexican dish, everyone has their favorite restaurant to visit- one that serves up the perfect combination of flavors that satisfy every time.
If you're looking for somewhere new, however, one Phoenix Mexican restaurant has risen high above all the others.
Barrio Cafe placed in the top 10 in TimeOut's "Top 20 Best Mexican Restaurants In America" list.
The humble restaurant is located ion 16th street, just south of Thomas Road, in Phoenix. It serves up Southern Mexican specialties of states like Oaxaca, Yucatan, and Puebla.
In house menu favorites include Yucatan's conchinita pibil and chiles en nogada.
The restaurant houses live music every Thursday through Saturday night as well as Sunday afternoon, however, the dining room is temporarily closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
