Is Seattle One Of The Worst Cities For Football Fans?

The biggest sporting event in the United States is this Sunday (February 7), and football fans are gearing up for it. Americans love football so much, 62 percent of citizens consider themselves either a fan or “somewhat” of a fan of professional football, according to Gallup.

With that said, which cities are great for howling for touchdowns? WalletHub looked at over 240 cities to find that answer. What about Seattle?

According to the website, Seattle is one of the better cities to cheer on your favorite team. Coming in the No. 14 spot, researchers said it was one of cities with the best performing NFL-teams (go Seahawks!).

Here were the Top 10 best cities where you can enjoy football:

  • Pittsburg, Pennsylvania
  • Dallas, Texas
  • Boston, MA
  • Green Bay, Wisconsin
  • New York, New York
  • Miami, Florida
  • New Orleans, Louisiana
  • Los Angeles, California
  • Indianapolis, Indiana
  • San Francisco, California

It's hard being a football lover over the past year. The COVID-19 pandemic has led to canceled games and empty stadiums, but the Super Bowl will have a socially-distanced crowd this year. Some stadiums nationwide have steadily reopened to their fans. Viewers and die-hards can also enjoy it on the couch, like some have in previous years.
