There are many perks to city life. But because those larger cities bring along greater populations, drawbacks such as pollution, litter, pests, and lower air quality are usually pretty prominent.
Some cities are much dirtier than others.
LawnStarter compared the 200 largest cities in the nation across 20 key metrics including air and water quality, waste regulations, and the share of homes with signs of mice or rats to determine which were the dirtiest.
Salt Lake City actually found itself near the bottom of the list among the cleanest of the nation's largest cities.
The city came in at number 176, ranking in the top 25 cleanest.
