Jared Leto's Full Joker Look Is Revealed For Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’

Just one short week ago, Zack Snyder teased Jared Leto's Joker character for his upcoming director's cut of Justice League. Now, we're finally getting to see the entire look.

On Tuesday (February 9), Vanity Fair posted the exclusive first look at the Thirty Seconds to Mars singer in his full Joker look and it was worth the wait.

“Leto’s clown prince was not part of Snyder's original plan before walking away from the movie in 2017 amid a clash with Warner Bros. leadership and grief over a family tragedy, but when HBO Max offered him the chance to finalize his own cut of the movie, the director had a few things he wanted to add to the long-awaited #Snydercut,” the caption read. “Batman’s nemesis was one of them.”

Leto had originally played the character in the 2016 film Suicide Squad but as you'll see below he has a completely new look. In the black and white image, the Joker is wearing a hospital gown with his hair long and not slicked back like in Leto's previous portrayal. He also said goodbye to the face tattoos and jewelry which many fans criticized saying it made him look like "a Soundcloud rapper.”

“Leto could be the best joker yet!!” one fan commented on the photo while another wrote, “I really loved his performance as the joker. Every performance is unique and different. Can't wait to see what he is gonna do here!”

Synder also gave fans a sneak peek at what they can expect in Leto's scene — skip reading if you don't want spoilers!

“The cool thing about the scene is that it’s Joker talking directly to Batman about Batman,” Snyder said. “It’s Joker analyzing Batman about who he is and what he is. That’s the thing I also felt like fans deserved from the DC Universe. That is to say, the Jared Leto Joker and the Ben Affleck Batman, they never really got together. It seemed uncool to me that we would make it all the way through this incarnation of Batman and Joker without seeing them come together.”

The Snyder Cut is out March 18 on HBO Max.
