As part of her sentencing in the college admissions scandal, Lori Loughlin must complete 100 hours of court-mandated community service. As the Fuller House actress already completed her two-month prison stint, she is now fulfilling her community service requirement this week.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Loughlin is carrying out her community service at Project Angel Food. The Los Angeles-based organization prepares and delivers to the homes of men, women, and children affected by life-threatening illnesses in the area. The organization made headlines last year when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent time volunteering there.
"A court cannot order the level of excellence, hard work, and kindness Lori Loughlin brought to her community service at Project Angel Food preparing and delivering life-saving meals to critically ill people," Brad Bessey, Project Angel Food's Head of Communications, told ET in a statement about Loughlin's time there.
In addition to her prison sentence and mandated community service hours, Loughlin was also required to pay a $150,000 fine and will be under supervised release for two years. Her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, remains behind bars.
