Tupac's Death Row debut, All Eyez on Me, reaches its 25-year anniversary on Saturday (February 13) and the late, great rapper's legacy is being celebrated with a new merchandise collection.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Spencer's is set to pay tribute to the icon with an expansion of their Tupac merch, as well as dedicated window displays in all of their stores. The new line, which drops on Monday, will feature iconic poetry from his writing, including excerpts from Family Tree, A River that Flows and Concrete. Items will be available in-store and online at Spencer's official website.
Tupac isn't the only hip-hop titan celebrated at the retail outlet. It has also licensed apparel celebrating Death Row Records, Juice Wrld, XXXTenatacion, Trippie Redd, among others.
It's been more than two decades since Tupac’s influence reigned supreme, but Swizz Beatz and Timbaland recently admitted that they're hoping to bring the late rapper's music to their Verzuz franchise. During their appearance on ESPN talk show, Jalen & Jacoby, the pair talked about organizing a a posthumous battle between Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. "My dream one...I wanna figure out how to do 'Pac and Biggie in a way that the people are gon' love it," Swizz admitted, to which Tim had some lingering thoughts. "I got you on that," he replied. "I got the idea. I'ma call you later."
