Here's Where Oregon Ranks Among The Least Educated States In The U.S.

For many Americans, having a good education will set you up for a better future.

How much schooling you get can matter to some extent in life. College can open doors to career paths, higher earnings and other benefits. Some find opportunities outside of post-secondary education. While the COVID-19 pandemic has put a wrinkle in the education system this past year, remote learning has enabled students to continue their studies until life returns to normal.

WalletHub looked at all 50 states across several metrics like school quality, student engagement, how many adults hold degrees and other factors. Where does the Beaver State rank?

According to the website, Oregon came in the No. 16 spot. This means it's on the higher end when it comes to college education.

Researchers noted that Oregon was among the states with the highest percentage of associate's degree holders or college-experienced adults. The Beaver State were also pinged for having one of the lowest average university quality.
