Miranda Lambert and Elle King have teamed up for a new collaboration called "Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home") and it's heading our way in just a few days.
On Monday (February 22), the pair teased the collaboration with various social media posts and they were quite the sight to see. ".@EllKingMusic [side-eye emoji] #DRUNK," Lambert captioned a photo of the two together, with King smoking in an 80's-themed wedding dress and Lambert in what looks like a bridesmaids dress. Meanwhile, over on King's account, the singer shared another photo of the pair. "The whiskey goes down better when they don't know who you are...," she captioned the shot, potentially alluding to a lyric in the forthcoming track.
Lambert and King's posts were enough to drum up excitement, before the pair confirmed the team-up with black and white artwork for the track just a day later. "Drunk" is scheduled to drop on Friday.
Lambert and King have collaborated previously on-stage on the former's "Roadside & Pink Guitars Tour." They also collided on Lambert's cover of "Fooled Around and Fell in Love," which also included the likes of Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes and Caylee Hammack.
