Paid Extras Needed In Charlotte For New Movie Starring Rachel McAdams

Have you ever dreamed of being in a blockbuster Hollywood movie? Well, now could finally be your chance! The Tona B. Dahlquist Casting company announced it is holding an open casting call in Charlotte for paid extras in Lionsgate's film adaptation of beloved novel Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret.

The coming-of-age-classic by Judy Blume will star Ant-Man's Abby Ryder Fortson as Margaret and Rachel McAdams as her mother, Barbara. The casting company, responsible for popular movies like The Hunger Games and Sleepy Hollow, is searching for paid extras of all ages, races, and types in the Charlotte area for the film, which is set to begin production in April, WSOC reports.

Here are the requirements that need to be submitted in order to be considered:

  • Two current photos, one full length and one close up. The photos should show your current hair color and length as well as any facial hair. Photos taken on a cellphone are permitted.
  • Name. If someone is a minor, then a parent's name should be included.
  • Age
  • Cellphone number
  • Height and weight
  • Complete listing of clothing sizes, included shoe size
  • Description of any visible tattoos or piercings
  • City and state of residence

Anyone interested in the opportunity should email the submission requirements listed above to CLTextras@gmail.com with a subject line listing your age, race, gender, and city/state residence. (Example: 40, Hispanic Male, Charlotte, NC).

Additionally, they are seeking period vehicles from the 1960s and 70s. Interested car owners can send in a photo of their vehicle, along with the make, model, and year, including your name, phone number, and city/state the car is in.
