New Music Venue Housed In Old Rock Quarry Coming To Tennessee

With live music put on hold for the better part of a year, music lovers can't wait to experience the feeling of hearing their favorite musicians in person surrounded by a crowd of people. With millions of coronavirus vaccines being administered each day, there is finally hope that day may come sooner than expected, and maybe even in a unique way.

A new live music venue is set to open later this year in an old, reclaimed rock quarry in Williamson County. FirstBank Amphitheater, a 138-acre, open air venue, will open in Thompson's Station and be able to hold up to 7,500 guests, FOX 17 reports. The venue will also have a 1.5-acre plaza where concert goers can dine and gather with friends while listening to great live music.

FirstBank Amphitheater is housed at the base of what used to be an active rock quarry 50 years ago. The surrounding cliffs, as high as 100 feet tall, will add to the experience and amplify the live tunes that have been lacking in Music City for the past year.

Upcoming shows have yet to be announced, but you can keep up to date on what tickets are available here. According to FOX 17, some memberships are currently available, including private boxes and cliff-side suites.
