Three singers from Utah made it through the first round of Hollywood on American Idol.
Six singers from Utah made it through to Hollywood, but only four appeared in the first Hollywood week episode.
Among the four that were shown were siblings Ammon and Liahona Olayan, Wyatt Pike, and Lizzy O'Very.
Ammon and Liahona are siblings who were originally from Hawaii. According to Deseret News, their family made the move to Utah which led their family to live in a tent together.
During auditions, judge and country singer Luke Bryan said, "Liahona, you have a voice like we could write a song, record it and it’s ready for the radio. Y’all complementing one another is absolute magic. I think the sky’s the limit, and I’m just freaking out."
Liahona ended up making it past the first round of Hollywood week while Ammon was sadly sent home.
Wyatt Pike is a singer from Park City who grew up singing all around the area. Pike was one of the "most unique" featured in the first round, singing a different, indie version of "Stay" by Rihanna.
