One Phoenix restaurant is switching up locations after 31 years.
The restaurant, called "Chino Bandido," is a Chinese-Mexincan-Jamaican fusion eatery that has been at its original location near 19th Avenue and Greenway Road for over three decades, reported KTAR News.
Now, the restaurant is upgrading to a more modern space.
The new location boasts 6,000 square feet of space near Third Avenue and Bell Road.
According to a press release, the new location is expected to be open sometime around June.
The original spot is still in operation every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. until the new place opens up to the public.
Co-owner of Chino Bandido, Eve Collins, said in the news release:
"After 31 years, I knew it was time for a change. Chino Bandido has been my labor of love for over half my life. Our customers' extreme loyalty got us through the pandemic and I could not be more excited for the next chapter in our history."
The new place will have an outdoor seating space for guests, and the restaurant's iconic 7,500-pound black granite bear, known as Pancho, is already situated at his new home.
Chino Bandido has been featured on the show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
