Wolf Van Halen Unleashes Solos On Every Instrument In New Single 'Feel'

With the release of his debut Mammoth WVH album less than six weeks away, Wolfgang Van Halen has shared a fifth single from the LP.

A true solo album, Wolfie wrote every song, recorded every instrument and sang all the vocals on the record himself.

On his latest, "Feel," the former Van Halen bassist reaffirms his songwriting and compositional prowess in the verses and choruses, before letting loose in the bridge with a flurry of solos on guitar, bass and drums, respectively.

The solo section in "Feel" has been a longtime favorite for Wolfie. He's teased it repeatedly on social media, going back to at least January of 2020 and again last summer.

Mammoth WVH, the album, is due out one June 11 via EX1 Records/Explorer 1 Music Group. To stream the singles or pre-order the album, go here.

Mammoth WVH's first single, "Distance," a ballad dedicated to Wolfgang's late-father Eddie Van Halen hit No. 1 at active rock radio last year. Another single, "Don't Back Down," quickly arrived in the Top 25 on radio, and the tongue-in-cheek music video exceeded 1 million views on YouTube in a few weeks.
