Murder Suspect On House Arrest Seen On Long Bike Rides Around Denver

A Denver man charged with the murder of his wife has been seen on multiple long bike rides, according to reporting from 9NEWS.

Bob Feldman has left his home repeatedly for bike rides, some lasting over three hours, and has made stops at local coffee shops, restaurants, and stores.

The 57-year-old was arrested by Denver Police on February 13, 2018, after his wife Stacy Feldman was found dead in 2015. An autopsy report concluded that she was assaulted and died by strangulation or suffocation.

Since October 2018, 9NEWS reporters found that Feldman had ridden his bicycle over 230 days, covering more than 3,000 miles.

They found the rides on an exercise app, Strava, which are recorded and posted on a publicly accessible website.

According to 9NEWS, Feldman was supposed to be confined to his home and only allowed to leave for doctor and lawyer appointments, court dates, for groceries, to attend religious services, and to take walks.

While some of the bike rides were to his lawyer's office and medical clinics, many of them took Feldman to Broomfield, Golden, and Morrison. The bike rides took him far away from his home in southeast Denver and many included stops that were not allowed.

Feldman is scheduled to go to trial on October 1. He is facing a single count of first-degree murder.
