Air Force Thunderbirds To Soar Over Colorado

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds are returning to Colorado this week, according to 9NEWS.

On Wednesday, May 26, the Thunderbirds will soar over Colorado Springs.

The Thunderbirds will fly as part of the graduation ceremony at the U.S. Air Force Academy, located north of Colorado Springs.

The Class of 2021 Graduation Ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday from 9:30 A.M. to 1:15 P.M. at Falcon Stadium.

General Mark A. Milley, the 20th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will be the commencement speaker, according to 9NEWS.

Attendance capacity at the graduation will be limited due to COVID-19 with each graduating cadet allowed to bring eight guests.

For the best view of the Thunderbirds' post-graduation flyover, people should be east of I-25 near the Air Force Academy.

If you can't catch the Thunderbirds during Wednesday's graduation ceremony, they will be in the region again this summer for Cheyenne Frontier Days on Wednesday, July 28 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

After their USAFA Graduation 2021 flyover, the Thunderbirds will head to Wantagh, New York for the Bethpage Airshow at Jones Beach.
