Another Golden State Stimulus payment is on the way to low-income and middle-class families in California.
Governor Gavin Newsom signed a $100 billion budget deal on Monday night (July 12), reports SFGate.
California Department of Finance spokesman H.D. Palmer told the Sacramento Bee that payments will start going out in early September.
Newsom's "Golden State Stimulus II" is an extension of the original program that sent out one-time payments to California residents who earned $30,000 and under in April.
According to SFGate, if you received the April check you can't receive a second one.
Those who qualify for the payment don't need to do anything to receive the payment.
So how much will those eligible receive from this stimulus check?
Individuals making between $30,000 and $75,000 will receive $600 stimulus checks. Undocumented families will also get an additional $500 and families with at least one child or another dependent will get an extra boost.
