Zippia conducted a study to determine the most popular candy in every state. The website used data from Google Trends to find out what type of candy the people in each state are snacking on.
So what candy is Colorado's favorite?
According to the study, it's a Hershey's bar.
Colorado wasn't the only state with the classic chocolate bar as their go-to candy choice.
Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, and North Carolina all had Hershey's bar as their favorite candy.
Based on the study's results, Zippia noticed some interesting things.
Starburst, Skittles, and Hershey's bars were the most beloved candies. It also turns out that chocolate is more popular than fruit-flavored candies. 33 states prefer chocolate candy to fruity candies.
The chocolate candies included Almond Joys, Mars bars, Twix bars, Paydays, Crunch bars, Baby Ruths, Butterfingers, Three Musketeers, Kit Kats, Snickers, One Hundred Grand Bars, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and Milky Ways.
