Following a busy year promoting her hit album Future Nostalgia, Dua Lipa is finally getting to enjoy some downtime. The pop star took Instagram on Tuesday (August 17) to share a poolside photoshoot. In the photos, Dua rocks an itty bitty crochet bikini.
Dua has been sharing a ton of eye-catching looks on Instagram lately. Before showing off her colorful, floral crochet swimsuit, the 'Levitating' singer donned a barely-there unitard while posing alongside palm trees.
Dua hasn't shared where she's vacationing, but she was joined by her sister, Rina Lipa, in her latest photo dump. Like Dua, Rina rocked a bold and colorful swimsuit for the photos.
Dua's crochet bikini was popular among her famous friends and followers, too. "This bikini is iconic," one follower wrote, while Bebe Rexha called the bathing suit "amazing." Alana Hadid, the older sister of Dua's boyfriend Anwar Hadid, commented: "Omg I need to know who made this. text me."
Dua's daring fashion sense has made headlines over the years almost as much as her Grammy-winning music. The pop star views her sartorial choices as extension of her artistry, as well, once telling Vogue: “When I get involved in the fashion world, it’s another outlet for my creativity, another extension of my music and who I am as an artist. Fashion is an extension of what I’d like to say, another part of me, so from the very beginning I had quite a clear idea of what I like to wear.”
She's certainly been busy with her music lately, too. Dua just dropped a new collaboration with Elton John, 'Cold Heart (PNAU Remix),' which sees her tackling a sample of the iconic musician's hit song 'Rocketman'
Dua will also be performing at this year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas this September. Fans can tune in to watch the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Festival via an exclusive livestream on The CW App and CWTV.com. The festival will also be broadcast live on iHeartMedia radio stations throughout the country across more than 150 markets. Additionally, the CW Network will broadcast a two-night television special on Saturday, October 2nd and Sunday, October 3rd from 8-10pm ET/PT. Tickets are currently on sale via AXS.com.
