Several sideshows happened throughout San Francisco over the weekend.

According to KRON4, two incidents happened early Saturday morning (September 18). One near Harrison and Fremont streets and another near Duboce Avenue and Market Street.

While sideshows are common in cities like Sacramento and San Jose, many are surprised the controversial activity is starting to happen in congested and narrow San Francisco streets.

A bystander was able to capture video footage of the sideshow near Duboce Avenue and Market Street which happened around 2:30 A.M. on Saturday.

One car even caught on fire, which can be seen in the video below.

San Francisco police are still investigating sideshow activity throughout the city but haven't made any arrests in the cases from the weekend.

“I spoke to the police this morning about the sideshow and again offered my support in any way to stop them,” said Supervisor Matt Haney who has reached out to SFPD. “They are dangerous and can be deadly and should be stopped.”
