Post Malone’s third annual Posty Fest, which was scheduled to take place on Halloween weekend, has been canceled.
On Thursday (September 30), a rep for Live Nation announced that the upcoming two-day affair has been nixed due to “logistical issues” and has been forced to be moved to 2022. The event, which was scheduled to take place October 30-31 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, had a star-studded performance roster including Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Uzi Vert, Roddy Ricch, Jack Harlow, Polo G, Rod Wave, Tyga, Flo Milli and more.
“Due to logistical issues impacting the production of the festival, Posty Fest is rescheduling to 2022,” a rep for Live Nation told Variety. “Refunds available at point of purchase. We can’t wait to make 2022 our biggest year yet. Stay safe everyone, we’ll see you soon.”
Sources told the magazine that the festival organizers faced issues with COVID-19 protocol and how those regulations worked in the state of Texas, which has looser perimeters than most other states. Ultimately, the organizers decided that it was best to postpone the festival until 2022. The 2020 installment of the festival was also nixed due to the pandemic.
