California Store Sells $632 Million Winning Powerball Ticket

A winning Powerball jackpot ticket was sold at a Sacramento 7-Eleven on Wednesday, January 5.

According to ABC10, two people will share one of the largest Powerball jackpots in history.

The winning tickets for the $632.6 million jackpot were sold in California and Wisconsin. Both tickets matched all six numbers: 6 - 14 - 25 - 33 - 46 and the Powerball was 17.

It's been more than three months that a winning ticket was sold but, California lottery officials said they won't know who the winner is until someone claims the ticket.

The two winners will split the jackpot. Each ticket is worth an annuitized $316.3 million or $225.1 million cash.

In addition, the 7-Eleven that sold the ticket will rake in $1 million just for selling it and California public schools will also get $63 million.

If you didn't win the big prize, Powerball said more than 3 million tickets won prizes in Wednesday's drawing, ranging from $4 to $2 million.

Wednesday's jackpot is the seventh-largest in Powerball's history. These are the 10 largest Powerball payouts, according to the lottery:
