Simple Plan & Sum 41 Bring Pop-Punk Perfection To Nashville

Simple Plan and Sum 41 teamed up for a rousing night of punk music when they brought The Blame Canada Tour to Nashville's Marathon Music Works on May 22, 2022. Before the two bands hit the stage, Florida-based Set It Off pumped up the crowd with their danceable blend of rock and pop music. Then two of the most iconic pop-punk bands of the early 2000s finally hit the stage. Sum 41 was up first playing fan-favorites from their 2001 album All Killer, No Filler, which is celebrating its 21-year anniversary, like “Fat Lip”. To close out the night, Simple Plan burst onto the stage and furthered the nostalgia with some of their biggest songs like "Summer Paradise" and "I'm Just a Kid." In all, the show was a great way to celebrate some of our pop-punk pioneers as the genre and aesthetics make a triumphant return to mainstream music.
