Stumpwork Tour: Dry Cleaning Live in NYC

All the way from South London, the band Dry Cleaning ended their North American tour in Brooklyn on February 2nd. The show at Pioneer Works was completely sold out and packed to the brim from wall to wall. They opened their set with the song "Kwenchy Cups" from their new album Stumpwork and finished with a two-song encore. Openers included alternative artists Nourished By Time and SPIRIT OF THE BEEHIVE. The british band has taken over the "speak-sing" genre. With the combination of lead vocalist Florence Shaw's soothing voice and lyricism and the band's steady edgy rhythm, it's an exciting look into the future of post-punk. Dry Cleaning continues their tour in the United Kingdom so if you find yourself across the pond be sure to check them out!
