The search for a naked woman in South Florida took a dark turn when deputies also found someone dead in a nearby home.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a nude woman climbing a tree in the area of Magnolia Drive, an unincorporated area of West Palm Beach, at 9:14 a.m. Sunday (March 26).
Cops arrived on the scene and were advised the subject was running around the neighborhood. After establishing a perimeter around the area, deputies reportedly located and detained the woman.
Authorities decided to investigate further, leading them to a dead woman inside a home in the 1500 block of Magnolia Drive, according to the sheriff's office. PBSO's Violent Crimes Division was called to the scene to investigate.
Detectives believe the naked woman, later identified as 34-year-old Sheree Williams, was involved with the victim's death and took her to a local hospital for treatment and clearance.
An update from PBSO revealed Williams was arrested in connection to the homicide. Online jail records say she's facing one charge of first-degree premeditated murder.
Investigators don't know the motive for the murder at this time. The investigation is ongoing, and more details will be released when available.
