Dame Dash is willing to give up a piece of Hip-Hop history to whoever places the highest bid for his stake in the company.

On Monday, August 19, the co-founder of Roc-a-Fella Records made an offer to all potential buyers interested in purchasing the rights to JAY-Z's Reasonable Doubt at an upcoming auction. In a video he posted to his Instagram, Dash said he wants to make a deal with anyone who bids over $10 million.

"If you do wanna buy 1/3 of Roc-A-Fella, Inc," he said. "You are gonna have to bring some bread and anything over $10 million, I'm gonna sweeten the pot."

"You get an original Roc-A-Fella chain from around my neck," he added. "I was the only one who gave out Roc-a-Fella chains when Roc-a-Fella really existed. If I don't give you the chain, it's not a legit Roc-A-Fella chain. You get one of these, this is legit."

The U.S. Marshals Service is selling Dame Dash's share of the company to fulfill a $823,000 judgment from a 2019 lawsuit. Most of the recordings from Roc-a-Fella's catalog will not be included in the sale. The only valuable asset that's up for grabs is the rights to Hov's debut album. Potential buyers must be able to bid no less than $1.2 million and provide a deposit of 20 percent of the minimum bid, which is $240,000.

Dash said he's gotten several offers for his share of the Roc. However, whoever wins the auction will only get to enjoy the rights for a few years. According to a recent report, JAY-Z will regain the rights to his debut album in 2031.
