Madonna is sharing some insight into one of her biggest hits.
The queen of pop sat down with iHeartRadio for a lengthy chat about her legendary music career, which included revealing what exactly inspired her 1990 song "Vogue," the lead single from her album I'm Breathless.
"I've been very inspired [living in New York City]. I mean the song 'Vogue' was inspired by walking into a nightclub — it may have been the Paradise Garage, I'm not sure — and seeing the extravaganza crew, basically, voguing, and I was like, 'Whoa, what the hell is that?' And it was just the most amazing thing," she said.
Elsewhere in the interview, Madonna shared how her time living in Lisbon, Portugal not only inspired her music but how it impacted her life.
