Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake have a strong bond.
In a new interview with InStyle, the Candy actress opened up about her marriage to the "Selfish" singer, sharing how the couple navigates their relationship and parenting their children amid each of their busy schedules and demanding careers, per People. Timberlake and Biel tied the knot in 2022 and share two sons together, Silas, 10, and Phineas, 4.
"I think having a partner who understands this industry and adjacent industries like music industry has been really deeply important and profound for my life and for our partnership because he just understands when I'm working crazy long hours," she said, adding that the same goes for her husband when he "works all night long. "So we are able to support each other throughout strange schedules and time apart because we know that's just what it takes to make this kind of art."
The couple also tries to have alternating schedules so they can ensure at least one of them is able to stay home with their kids; however, Biel notes that "doesn't always happen" when certain opportunities come up that "you just have to take advantage of."
When they are pulled away for work, they have a strong "village" of people who step up. The Sinner star noted that she is surrounded by "amazing groups of women" who have supported her throughout her life, joking that she also considers Timberlake "one of my chosen sisters."
"The next part is earnest: He's also my best friend," she said. "All of them together have gotten me through my life. I don't know how I would have survived life without them."
Timberlake appears to share the sentiment. In March, he celebrated his wife, whom he called his "best friend" and his "rock," in a sweet social media post in honor of her birthday, admitting that she is the person who "showed me a real love."
