WalletHub compared nearly 200 cities across America to determine which are the best places for a staycation and which are the worst. Among the list are five cities in Ohio, including one that was crowned the best place in the country to enjoy a staycation:

- No. 112: Toledo
According to the site, Cincinnati is "especially good" for outdoor activities thanks to its selection of parks, swimming pools and sports fields, while it also has a variety of affordable and highly-rated restaurants.

To determine its ranking, WalletHub compared 182 cities around the country based on three factors: recreation, food & entertainment and rest & relaxation. These factors were then evaluated across 41 relevant metrics, including parks per capita, walk score, hiking trails per capita, shopping centers per capita, water & amusement parks per capita, movie costs, nightlife options per capita, festivals per capita, average cocktail price, diversity of restaurants, beauty salon costs, public beaches per capita and idealness of summer weather, among others.
