Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 56th birthday with a performance in Warsaw, Poland, on Friday (July 25), and was very thankful the crowd didn’t catch a glimpse of her birthday suit when her costume malfunctioned.
"I'm glad that they reinforced that costume, and I'm glad that I had underwear on. I don't usually wear underwear," the "On The Floor" songstress joked in a live stream surprise shared on YouTube.
Lopez entered the stage in a sparkling silver skirt with green accents and smiled as the crowd sang "Happy Birthday" to her. The bedazzled skirt fell to the floor before the star could thank fans for the kind wishes.
As Lopez laughed off the incident, which she assured was going to be "everywhere," one of her backup dancers attempted to re-fasten the skirt with no success. The "Dance Again" songstress gave up, grabbed the skirt from the backup dancer, and proceeded to throw it into the crowd.
According to Page Six, Lopez continues to grace stages across Europe as part of her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour, and also celebrated her latest trip around the sun during a stop in Turkey last week. While there were no wardrobe malfunctions at that show, there was a massive cake to mark the special occasion!
