Jeezy almost didn't make it to his tour stop in Baltimore. Luckily, he was able to make it thanks to some help from a heroic Uber driver.

In a post he shared on Instagram Monday, August 4, Big Sno told the story of how the Uber driver named Tanner rescued him during his hellish road trip from Atlanta to Baltimore. After all flights to Baltimore and Washington, D.C. were canceled, Jeezy's team ordered a driver to pick him up and take him to Maryland. Two hours into their drive, the driver struck an object on the highway, which punctured the gas tank. They pulled over in South Carolina and decided to call an Uber.

"Eight minutes into the ride, I turned to him and said, 'Hey, we need to go to Baltimore.' I asked how much he’d charge to take us there, and after a moment of consideration, he replied, 'Let me think about it.' I assured him that whatever it was, he’d have it. Like real one, he didn’t hesitate and just kept driving."

Tanner drove 10 hours to help Jeezy get to his tour stop in Baltimore. They made it with just ten minutes before the show was scheduled to begin. As a token of his appreciation, Jeezy paid the driver, hooked him up with a Snowman t-shirt and made Tanner his special guest for the night.

"Shout out to the real MVP, my Uber driver Tanner! Not all heroes wear capes!" Jeezy concluded.

Jeezy is currently hitting up cities around the country as part of his 'TM:101 Live' 20th Anniversary Tour. The seasoned rapper recruited DJ Drama, Adam Blackstone and the Color of Noize orchestra to help him perform hits from his major label debut, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, and more in honor of the album's 20th anniversary. The tour began in Miami last month and has hit numerous cities around the country. Jeezy also released the official TM:101 Live album, which features live performances from the tour.
