Blueface is no longer the same slim rapper he used to be, and his latest photos prove it.
The incarcerated artist took to Instagram on Sunday, August 17, and posted some new flicks that revealed his new look. Blueface looks a lot more buff than ever before. He's got a few new tattoos on his face, including his forehead and the right cheek. He keeps a straight face in all three photos and is posted up with two fellow inmates in his last image. He also has a new hairdo. Blueface now rocks his hair down on both sides instead of his classic upward style.
"This is not a 50/50 yard," he wrote in his caption.
It's been over a year since Blueface was sentenced to four years in prison. He was arrested last January for violating the terms of his probation stemming from his alleged assault on a bouncer at a Las Vegas strip club in 2021. At the time, Blueface, born Johnathan Porter, managed to avoid prison after he was granted a suspended sentence. However, a judge ruled that the rapper violated his probation after he was reportedly caught with drug paraphernalia.
During his sentencing hearing, the judge gave Blueface credit for a year after he served eight months behind bars. The "Thotiana" rapper must serve at least 33 percent of his sentence to be eligible for release. Blueface explained his situation when he called into DJ Hed and Gina Views' "Effective Immediately" radio show last August. At the time, he said he weighed 180 pounds.
"I’ve never been 180 before," he said at the time. "I’m getting sized up, I’m about to bounce out looking like a Dalmatian.”
Blueface is currently serving his sentence at Lancaster State Prison in California.
